i went for dinner last night with some very dear people, patrick and chyrellanne, and our magnificent host justine, three very talented musicians and good friends. i was giving patrick a lesson in photoshop, not that i am any good myself but i kinda know my way around, anyways we chilled out gazing at the moon over palm beach, the moon was beautiful, it was nearly full and vibrant, no clouds just this incredible orb in the sky filled with detail and mystery.
i've done a fair amount of work with the moon, and it's so powerful i kinda have to use it only when it waxing or waning, never when it's full, (although it's perfect for sex) but it was so beautiful last night. as i drove home i watched the heavens strewn with starlight against this purple legion of splendour but man did i have the freakest dreams, vivid nightmares beasts and monsters chasing me. at about 4am the moonlight was pouring in through my bedroom, it was kinda like the house in close encounters, being filled with this strange blue light, impossible to sleep so i hit the road at 6am after walking pan, still dark, heading up carnage highway when before me, the full moon filling up the highway over the lake, i couldn't stop looking at it, i wanted to just reach out and touch it as i drove into it and as the sun came up i wondered if i should have been with some one i love. tommorrow is the full moon, maybe i will light a candle.

I don't know if a bunch of rocks in space has any influence over my fate, destiny or will, but i am a romantic at heart and love the mystery of the night skies, i do consult favourable conditions when i am doing any magickal work as it's kinda like sailing after having checked the weather, if there's wind then chances are its going to be good conditions for a sail. the chaos magickian wouldn't really have much faith in astrology, but depending what system they work they may adopt some of the framework to build their belief. The guides above are just guides, but they have some merit, they have been tested in the process over hundreds of years and relate cross culture. the chinese, hindu and the jewish calander are based upon the lunar year, not the solar one.

My Moon is in Pisces, which is intresting becuase my sun is as well.

Moon in Pisces
Sensitivity, changeability, rich imagination - these are the distinguishing features of Moon Pisceans. They are so perceptible to others' emotions that can be deeply moved by a situation in which someone else would never notice anything special. They try to avoid strict order or rigid rules and prefer to create around them a kind of "creative chaos", as if protesting against requirement to put things on their places.
Rich imagination of Moon in Pisces helps its owners in creative endeavours. If they meet an obstacle, Moon Pisceans will find a way around. They will never storm or forcefully demand anything. Quitely and softly moving from one situation to another they will be looking for a place with a cleaner emotional atmosphere.
To release stress, Moon Pisceans might want to stay alone in some romantic surroundings and to day dream. They are able to meditate naturally, even if they have no idea what is meditation. It may be good for them to live or at least to spend their vacations near a body of water, best of all a sea or an ocean. Even by simply spending a little time at the sea shore they will immediately feel significant relief.
Unfortunately, many Moon Pisceans are prone to smoking and alcohol consumptions as a way to get an emotional relief. This might help for a period, but their body is very sensitive to contamination and consequences of such an unnatural relief can be really detrimental.
Being parents, Moon Pisceans are kind and full of compassion, they are ready to understand and forgive just anything. They like fairy tales even more than their kids and can read them for hours. They will take an active part in development of creative abilities and imagination of their children. But one thing where they are not helpful is in teaching their children how to deal with the real world, how to be responsible and ordered. They have no idea about this themselves.

Mmm. not sure about that last bit, i mean what is the real world anyway?

i suppose the 'real world' is consensual reality as broadcast back to us by the media - you know, the one people talk about the next morning at morning coffee break.
it is the duty of every cyberneticly evolving life form to make sure they mess with their kids imprint on this as possible.
being responsible & ordered in the real world aint that progressive a thing to be. sounds like being indoctrinated by murdoch/speilberg/time/bbc to me. sounds like the opposite to organic impulse, chaos and intuition.
as for 'teaching' - well if its meant 'real world' style - thats just corny old brainwashing. any intelligent adult will tell you the only thing a kid needs to be taught is how to teach themselves.
'teaching' children to be part of the 'real world' is a form of child abuse - a way of braindamaging yet another generation into the cranky old reality that went stale in the 60's.
go get jakes opinion on that.
